Ok, most of you will say "how
can you talk about women's beauty in a country where most of them are
covered?"... We all know that the Arab beauty standards are different from
western typology. And I can assure you that in an Arab country you will find
the real beauty. Because if this fact- that they have most of their bodies
covered- the face gains a lot of impact. Most of western women complain about
the fact that men nowadays are looking just for a great body, but in Arabic
country the body comes after face. And Arabic women are well known for their
beauty. And they are really interested in taking care of them, of their hair (even
if you don't see it because this part should be seen just by her man, it's a
privilege for him only) their skin, nails. You will see a lot of beauty
centers, cheap ones or high class centers, but you should be careful not to
choose any hairdresser from your neighborhood just because is closer because
that girl can make a disaster. This happened to me. So you should choose a central
one and look after reviews.
Arabic beauty
standards:
1. A clear,
beautiful, smooth skin.
In the Arab
countries the skin should have a special care treatment. The face and hands.
You will see that the women there use a lot of makeup, like really strident
colors sometime. Pink, red, orange, purple. They love these colors. But a fair
clean a moisturized skin it looks much better.
The Arabic men
they adore women with white skin, light eyes color (green or blue).
2. A silky long
hair.
Most of Arabic
women have curly fizzy hair and for them can be a problem to discipline it. If
you go in a center for hair dressing once you step in you will smell and see
the smoke from hair straightening. People, please don't kill your hair like
this! And they do a treatment for keeping the hair straight for many month in a
row, an expensive and full of chemicals one. And they do this for children
also, for little girls. I saw a girl who made this treatment and she was 9
years old and her hair was damaged.
If you have light
colored hair you should be aware that you will grab attention while you walk
down the streets. The people there are not very used to blond hair so this is
special for them.
3. Nails and
teeth.
The oral hygiene
is important there. They are one of the clean people due to their religion.
They pray 5 times a day and before this they wash themselves each time.
So clean teeth and
clean nice nails. You will not see too much colored nails because religious
reasons, but you will see clean and nice looking hands and nails.
4. Perfume
It's well known
that Arabic people, especially men, adore perfumes. The people from Emirates
they spend a lot of money for fragrances and, believe me, you can't breathe
next to them. They use a lot and really strong perfume.
5. Jewelry
Both women and men
love wearing jewelry. And golden ones...they love gold!!! Big and obvious
pieces: rings (as many as you can on a single hand), necklaces, bracelets, even
fancy hijab pins. And also you can see a lot of types of hijab (a traditional
scarf worn by Muslim women to cover their hair and neck): different colors and
styles. I will make a special article about hijab
And what I hate about women habits: wearing the sunglasses on their head, over the hijab. When they go out is like automatic to take the sunglasses and put them up, on the head.
